Privacy
Short version: we collect as little as possible. Software Tradies has no accounts, no logins and no mailing list — we don't ask for your details, and we don't run tracking analytics.
What we collect
Nothing personal. There is no sign-up, no login and no newsletter, and we don't run third-party analytics on this site.
Hosting & server logs
Like any website, this one is served by a hosting provider (Cloudflare), which processes each request and may keep standard security and performance logs — such as your IP address and browser type — in the ordinary course of serving a site. We don't use those logs to identify individuals.
Cookies
We don't set cookies of our own. Our host may set strictly necessary security cookies (for example, bot protection). You can block or clear cookies in your browser at any time.
Affiliate links
Some links to software and services are commercial: if you click through and buy, the vendor may pay us a commission. When you click one, the vendor or their affiliate network may set a cookie to attribute the referral to us. That cookie belongs to them, not us, and what happens after you leave this site is covered by the vendor's own privacy policy. Every commercial link is disclosed on the page, and commissions never affect our rankings or scores — see how we make money.
If you email us
If you contact us at support@softwaretradies.com.au, we receive your email address and message, and use them only to reply.
What we never do
- We don't sell or rent personal data.
- We don't buy contact lists or spam you.
- We don't share anything you send us with the vendors we write about.
Your choices
Because we hold essentially nothing about you, there is little to request — but email us any time and we'll tell you what (if anything) we hold.
